Two newcomers from Human’s newest campaign answer the famous Proust questionnaire.

The fresh faces of Human’s Adventure is Out There campaign are new, but they feel familiar. Bringing to life the spirit of the escapade are Javy Cang, Kim Cruz, Luigi Pumaren, Carlos Laurel, and Hannah Locsin, five new names that rose to fame with their perfectly curated feeds. These guys rose to fame on Instagram, but they’ve held their own in the real world. If this thrilling new ride with Human is any indication, they’re here to stay.

In this new series of conversations with some our faves from the local scene, we asked Carlos Laurel and Hannah Locsin to tell all – from their biggest fears to their greatest love.
Because the French do it better, Bench Blog enlisted the help of iconic Parisian writer Marcel Proust to get to know our new friends, Hannah and Carlos. The famous Proust questionnaire, popularized by the French author, is a series of questions that dive deep into personal territory. Asking about insecurities and virtues, these questions go way beyond the typical Instagram bio.

Turns out that despite their good looks and large following, these guys are only human. What else can you ask for? Read on to find out just who Carlos Laurel and Hannah Locsin really are.

Carlos Laurel, @carlos_laurel

What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Definitely being able to play baseball with all my brothers in the same team again. Unicorns reppin’!

What is your greatest fear?
My greatest fear is the cockroach. Even worse, the flying cockroach! If I see one in the room, I’m outtie.

What is the trait you dislike most about yourself?
I guess it would have to be my tendency to overthink things. That gets worrying about useless things.

What is the trait you dislike most in others?
I dislike it when people think the whole world revolves around them. Like when they assume things are happening to them specifically and not just happening.

Which living person do you most admire?
My Mama Ing! She represents, in my eyes, everything good in this world, and how people should act.

It is and always will be sports! You can always learn something new about life from different sports every day.

When and where were you happiest?
When I was 5 years old, just starting to play baseball, without a care in the world. Well, except wondering what food would be served after the games.

Which talent would you most like to have?
I’d definitely like to be able to sing really well. Then again, who wouldn’t.

What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Living! Knowing that everyone is going through something every day, I’d say just being thankful for everything God has given is an achievement in itself.

If you were to die and come back as a person or a thing, what would it be?
I’d probably want to come back as Bruce Wayne just because. You know why.

Owning and running a hotel by the beach. I’d get to meet new people everyday, work when the sun is out and party when the sun goes down.

What’s your favorite item from Human that you own?
My favorite item are these jeans I got. Nice jeans are hard to come by, but when you finally get them, it’s like you know it’s meant to be.
