It’s going to be one hell of a ride, so be prepared.

We’re finally done with January, and you know what that means: it’s time to get serious. If you haven’t gotten started on those New Year’s resolutions yet, it’s a make or break ordeal. The holiday season is officially over, and it’s time to get the ball rolling for 2018. But, as always, change can be overwhelming, so we’re here to lend a helping hand to get you started on #FixYourLife2k18. We’ve all got different goals for our year ahead, but a good foundation to chasing your dreams is to get organized. Because who has time to sweat the small stuff when you’re off nailing down the big ones? Well, that’s what we’re here for.

2 cool 4 the commute
Getting around the metro seems to be getting more difficult with each passing week, and if you take any form of public transportation, you know that it’s a battle of blood, a lot of sweat, and (mostly) tears. Take on the long lines and crammed train cars with these essentials: a mini fan to keep you cool, an umbrella for those unpredictable Manila showers, and a small pouch with Alcogel and a handkerchief to keep you sane and sanitized. God bless your trip.

Stay electric
Staying connected around the clock isn’t just a must for today’s social media world, but also for, duh, emergencies, especially when you’re on the go. Imagine your gadgets losing juice when you’re running late to an important meeting, or worse, a date. Keep an external battery pack (don’t forget your charging cable!) handy when you’re out and about. And because the world can be so cruel — even to our beloved digital toys — keep ‘em safe in cute but sturdy cases.

Near, far, wherever you are
They say travel is food for the soul, and it really is, only if you’re well-prepared and organized. Nobody wants a mess of a bag and having to rustle through it every time you need to present your passport, so be wise and keep your things compartmentalized in cases and organizers. Roll your clothes instead of folding them to get more space, and don’t forget: comfort is still key when traveling, so pack a pillow and a sleeping mask.

Forget me not

Going digital has become the norm these days, from organizing schedules, sending letters, the works. But there’s always something about writing down things, be it a ‘thank you’ note or a list of things to do. It adds a personal touch and helps you remember whatever it is you have to remember. Which is why stationery, planners, and many a paper product will never go out of style. It’s always a perfect gift, too, either for yourself or for your loved ones.
